Do you have a broken Life line?

A broken life line does NOT mean you will die early or have some terrible accident.

No-one can tell you how long you are going to live by measuring the length of your lifeline.

Your life line shows what kind of anchor you have. Do you have no anchor or a strong one? This has to do with family background conditions and how grounded you are in your body and on the planet. Your life line also shows how you expend your energy,

If you have a weak anchor, try body work such as tai chi, healing tao, dance, martial arts or yoga to help you become more grounded.

Sometimes you life line is disturbed by your career line. This is called a '3 for 2' (3 lines instead of 2) and means your work needs to be all-consuming. In other words, you need a mission. A life project that fascinates you and keeps you occupied day and night. Your occupation isn't just a job. It's something you eat, sleep and breathe. It's your oxygen; what keeps you going. In a sense, your work is your anchor.

If this is you, you're not designed to be a 9 to 5er!

Have you found your mission in life yet?

Perhaps it's time you had your hands analysed to find out if you have any special talents you're totally unaware of.

I have no lifeline... on either hand. I always wanted to know what that meant.

Your lifeline shows how anchored you are in your body and on this planet.

It represents your root chakra.

No lifeline, no anchor.

Your root/base chakra is about family and security and finding your right tribe. Feeling safe on this planet. You need to strengthen this chakra by connecting with your body.eg yoga, tai chi, dance, sport...
The univeral truth related to this chakra is "we are one." So this must be something major for you.

A fellow handanalyst, trained in the same system as me, has just started an excellent course working through the chakras based on Caroline Myss's work in this field. Beth Davis (now known as Baeth Davis)is using the chakras to help people unblock their energy, esp their finances. You can check out her course here:

If you'd like to know how your lifeline /hand prints (personality) connects with your fingerprints (your soul contract) you could join my mastermind and submit your prints for discussion. http://www.handanalysisonline.com/members.php
We have a class tomorrow, and once a month.

so if i have a deep life line broken about half way through into two distinct lines what does that mean?

This is difficult to answer without actually seeing your hand.
sometimes the lifeline gets 'bumped' by the career/Saturn line. This means your job needs to be your anchor. You need a job that is not just 9 to 5 but something you eat, sleep, breathe. A mission.
This is called a '3 for 2'. In other words you have three lines here instead of 2 lines.
Or you might react like someone who has a short lifeline, being a workaholic - gotta gotta - without taking a breather to appreciate what you've done. As I say, hard to say, without seeing what's actually caused the line to break.
Think of it as needing to be more grounded and in touch with your body. Listen to your body and give it the breaks and TLC it needs to be rejuvinated.

Not at all. This has nothing to do with how long you are going to live. You probably just find it harder to relax than your friend.

Please stop worrying unnecessarily about your girlfriend. The marker probably jsut means she was heavily influenced by family in her first choice of job.

Celebrate her and love her and stop putting unnecessary fear into her head.

You have to look at what causes the break. Life line = anchor, broken lifeline = broken anchor, ie at sea. Usually when people have a break like this there are 2 lines instead of 2 for Job line and life line. This means your work is your anchor. You need a mission.
